Vale Church*

Vale’s growing congregation led them to move out of their leased space to construct a new building. The building has an auditorium, open gathering space, café, nursery, children’s classrooms, youth room, and offices. The auditorium is designed for a true contemporary worship experience with integrated audio, video, and lighting. The gathering space has an info center, movable furniture, and a café with coffee and treats for sale. The children’s area was designed to be fun and secure. There is a self check-in area near the entry and the classrooms are arranged along a one direction corridor. The youth room is a large multipurpose space with a stage, audio, video, lighting, and movable furniture. The building is designed to have a bright and lively atmosphere with large custom inspirational graphics.

NEEDS:

• The ability to host worship services and seated dinners in the same space

• Flexible and secure children’s space with room to grow

• The ability to have baptisms, fellowship, dinners, and new member classes without adding dedicated space for each one.

SOLUTIONS:

• The auditorium has a flat floor which allows the room to be set up with rows of chairs or with tables and chairs.

• Each classroom accommodate large and small group activities within the same space, has a separate entry and exit, integrated audio & video, and video surveillance.

• The gathering space was designed as a large open area with moveable furniture that could be arranged to accommodate many different events.
